We were a bit worried if we were going to make it to the show due to a snow storm. However, the weather cooperated and we were able to make it safe and sound. T Minus 5 performed in Casper in 2004. It is now 2011 and we had many people that remembered us and came to our show 7 years later, plus we made a lot of new friends too! Thanks, to our sponsors that made this possible! If you haven't heard it is to be held Saturday, August 27, at the Ogden Amphitheater beginning at 7:30 pm. The evening features some of the nation’s most notable a cappella groups, and local favorites. <br /> <br />Who are this years groups: <br /> <br />Seattle’s own and most in demand corporate, performing arts, and college acts in the U.S. today, <a href="http://www.blogger.com/www.thecoats.net">The Coats</a> tour and produce music at a breakneck pace. Their success has led The Coats to sing for the President of the United States and appear on several local and national television programs including NBC’s hit comedy, Frasier. Actor Kelsey Grammar, (Frasier himself!) said that his favorite thing about Seattle is “The Coats”. On a side note this was the group that got Jared Allen hooked on a cappella music. Jared attended a Coats concert when he was a freshman at Weber State University back in 1995. After that show Jared became an a cappella junkie. <br /> <br />LA based group, <a href="http://www.sonosings.com/">Sonos</a> works with electronics in both their live show &amp; in their recordings. Using fun gadgets such as octave pedals, loop stations, harmonizers, delay pedals, phase shifters, and EQ pedals coupled with their diverse musical background in composition &amp; music education, jazz performance, opera, and theater, electrifies any and all who hear their music. Come see them live before they are on NBC. Thats right Sonos will be featured on NBC's Singoff (an American Idol show for a cappella groups) this fall.
